About Cedar Grove

Cedar Grove Retreat was first developed in the 1940’s by the Girl Scouts of America. In 2001 First Assembly of Concord purchased it and converted it into a full-service Christian camp, providing camping and outdoor experiences to churches and other ministry organizations throughout the Carolinas. After years of service to the Christian community, the camp was purchased by a private foundation. Today, Cedar Grove Retreat not only provides timeless outdoor camping experiences for churches and ministries, it also delivers leadership/ministry training, team building, at-risk student development, father/son retreats, banquet hosting, and more.
