1.  Who are Capstone Climbing and Adventure and Boss Paintball?

-Capstone Climbing and Adventure is a ministry minded adventure group based out of Concord, NC.  They lead all kinds of outdoor adventures and programs including paddling, rock climbing, hiking, and camping trips.  They are able to work with people of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds.  Capstone is very familiar with our neighboring state parks, rivers, and hiking trails so your group will be taking on the outdoors in no time.  They will also provide all the necessary equipment for your trip.  For more information about Capstone, go to www.capstoneclimbing.com.

Boss Paintball will be handling all of our off-site paintball adventures.  They have a 35 acre wooded facility complete with structures and complexes to enhance the games.  It’s a perfect place for those who have played before and for the beginner.  Boss Paintball will provide all the equipment you will need for your paintball adventure. www.bossproshops.com

2.  For the trips off site, how far away are the destinations from Cedar Grove?

-All of the adventure trips being offered through Capstone are within a 1-3 hour drive from Cedar Grove.  Capstone’s high and low ropes facility is located in Concord, NC, which is about a 20 minute drive.  Boss Paintball fields are located in Locust, NC, which is only about 30 minutes away.  Groups will be responsible for their own transportation.

3.  What do we do about meals on the day of our outing?

-All of our outings are scheduled to start after breakfast and will be done before dinner.  Cedar Grove will send bag lunches and drinks with you on your trip.

4.  Where will we stay while at Cedar Grove?

-Groups will stay in our cabins.  We have two sets of cabins that use different bath houses so guys and girls can have their own lodging and bathroom facilities.  All cabins come equipped with an A/C unit and portable heaters so cabins stay warm or cool depending on the time of year.

5.  Will we have a meeting space?

-A meeting space will be made available upon request.  Just let Cedar Grove staff know before the retreat so your space can be set up.
